I was introduced to Michelle Smith and her company Idyllwild Advertising in the fall of 2009. We talked about what we were doing as a company and what she could do to help us with our internet sales. I decided to give Michelle a go because she is category exclusive and fee based not a percentage based.
I had worked with two other companies who said they would be able to get us great results from Search Engine Optimization, both failed in what they said they could do. After a few months it became apparent to me and Michelle that SEO and page sponsoring ads were not the way for my company to go.
Michelle could have continued to push me in the direction of SEO and sponsoring ads, but she does not work that way. When she saw that the SEO and page ad sponsoring was costing way too much, she sat down with me and went over the numbers and explained why it was costing so much, then she presented other options for me to me look at.
One of the options she gave was Social Media. I would have never on my own gone into social media realm and advertising, but since Michelle was so upfront with me I decided to listen. That was the best thing I have done, listen to what Michelle suggested to me.
Michelle asked me to give her and her staff six months with social media, and again she explained why and answered all my questions. The second month into social media advertising I thought to myself that I could do this myself and save, but I decided to give it one more month before I made that kind of move.
During that third month is when I realized what Michelle and her staff could do and how valuable they really were and are. We started to see results from our campaigns like we have never seen before on anything we have done. So needless to say, I almost made a very bad business decision thinking that I could do it myself and save.
We are now 11 months working with and advertising in Social Media and I can honestly say that Michelle and her team live up to everything they say they will do and that their knowledge and expertise is unmatched.
What I have really appreciated in working with Michelle and her staff has been their genuine interest in my company and what will make my company successful in all areas from advertising to customer service.
Henry Ford surrounded himself with people who were experts and smarter than he was in their field, and then he both listened to them and challenged them which is what made his company so successful. I have found such an expert for my company.
