Before devoting his work largely to IdyMed, John served as a Director of Marketing and Business Development with the 4th largest medical imaging company in the US.
Why is John so successful at consulting? He puts it this way: "When you recognize that a particular healthcare specialty is important, you tend to become obsessional about it - you won’t stop until your client is effectively delivering that care to every patient who needs it."
In addition to being a healthcare marketing consultant, John is a passionate backpacker and wilderness survival enthusiast practicing primitive living skills learned from Cody Lundin internationally known desert survival instructor. With such a love of the desert southwest it’s perhaps surprising to learn John was born and raised in Liverpool UK. John came to the US in 1985 when he organized and undertook a 3,000 mile Walk Across America, a fundraiser for children’s end of life care. He says he never looked back and now lives in Phoenix Arizona with his wife, Amy, and two dogs, Rufus and Norman. John’s adult daughters, Olivia and Laurel, now live in Chicago and Washington DC.
